Carbon emission is the major threat faced by the mankind in the present era and will be the main concern for us in coming centuries. It has created global warming and overturns the ecosystem, thus threatening the very existence of mankind and other living creatures of this planet. Emission from the millions of vehicles is one of the major contributors of carbon foot print in the globe. Those who travel extensively in vehicles/air planes either for vacation or enjoyment are indirectly contributing to aggravate this situation. Therefore they have a moral obligation to compensate a little for the cause of our planet. The most suitable option for them is to plant trees which is the only answer to address this problem.

Chellarkovil ecotourism has initiated a movement in this direction with the participation of the local farming community, facilitating people, especially our touring guests to participate in the Carbon Neutralization Movement by adopting a tree in the village.
